Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga are often confused as being the same. Whilst they have similarities there are also differences between the two.

Restorative yoga is a gentle and nurturing style of yoga that focuses on opening and calming the mind and body through passive stretching, meditation and deep breathing.

Yin yoga is a passive style of yoga that focuses on bringing awareness to the mind whilst stretching the connective tissue in the body and increasing energy flow through the meridians.
