What are they trying to tell you?
Your body isn't working against you... it's communicating with you.
Headaches can be a sign you're putting pressure on yourself in ways your system can't sustain.
Metaphysically, headaches can symbolise:
• Self-criticism and invalidating yourself
• Fear sitting beneath the surface
• Mental overload and internal pressure
LOCATION MATTERS
Front of the Head
• Holding onto old limitations
• Not seeing the good in situations
• Rigid thinking or needing to be "right"
Back of the Head
• Feeling like you haven't done enough
• Impatience with yourself
• Constant internal pressure to do more / be more
What to Reflect upon
• Where am I being too hard on myself?
• What am I trying to prove and to who?
• Am I allowing myself to rest, or only pushing?
• What outdated belief am I still holding onto?
Things that may help
• Slow down - your nervous system needs safety, not pressure
• Gentle hydration - drink some water
• Step away from stimulation - try to lessen distractions and get bored
• Soften your inner dialogue - notice the tone you speak to yourself with and be kinder to yourself
• Let go of the need to have everything figured out - trust in divine timing
